Fuller Reconfirms Commitment After Visit

A number of Illinois football commits were faced with the news of the departure of Ron Zook and most of his staff just a couple weeks ago. Florida's TaJarvis Fuller has maintained his commitment throughout, and this week he was able to reaffirm it after his official visit.

Tajarvis Fuller, from Dunbar High School in Fort Myers, Florida, was an early commitment to Illinois. The safety/linebacker had been to campus before, but this time the circumstances were different. Not only was he seeing the Illini more in-depth, he also got to meet new Illinois Head Coach Tim Beckman.

"My visit was real good. I got everything I needed academics-wise, and I got a chance to meet the new coach. I got to spend a lot of time with Coach Beckman."

Fuller's time spent with Coach Beckman enabled him to get to know his future coach and get a feel for his personality.

"It was really nice. He's a cool guy. He definitely believes in sticking to his way of coaching, and I like that. He's a funny guy too. But he's about business. He got to know my mom pretty well too, and I like his personality. He made a good first impression. I look forward to playing for him."

Fuller got a chance to see a lot more this time around at Illinois.

"I got to see the facilities and everything. I got a full campus tour and saw everything."

We'll go more in-depth with Fuller soon.
