"I camped at Notre Dame, Illinois and Northern Illinois," said offensive lineman Trevor Bending.
"I liked the Notre Dame camp the most. I really like Greg Mattison a lot. He's a great coach and I learned a lot from him.
"Stanford has given me a verbal offer. Bowling Green and Ball State are just waiting for my coach to send tape before they offer.
"Notre Dame, Stanford and Illinois are my top three schools. I'm also looking at Iowa, Boston College and Kansas."
Bending, a 6-foot-4, 270-pounder, from Bensenville (Ill.) Fenton will be a two-year varsity starter on both sides of the ball for the Bison.
He was named all-area and all-conference as a junior. Bending was one of the most talked about prospects in Illinois during the May Evaluation period.
