The game on Saturday was a fun experience for Jordan.
"The Soldier Field game was great," he said. "I love the college atmosphere. I didn't talk to any of the players, but they did introduce themselves to my family and I."
After a visit to the Illinois game Saturday, Jordan says it was just an impulse decision between he and his family to head down to Champaign on Sunday.
"Right when we decided to go to the game, my mom and sisters' schedules were free," he said, "so we had to bring them down to see Illinois' campus and it's only a two-hour drive."
Jordan's family was much more involved this time around on his visit. With much of the rest of his family along with him, they briefly met with the coaches then headed out to campus for a while.
"When we arrived at Illinois, we sat down and talked to Coach Groce and the rest of the staff," he said. "It's always good to hear his opinion on the upcoming season and how Illinois feels about me."
Coach Groce stressed the momentum Illinois is building to Jordan when they spoke.
Jordan said, "He emphasized the fact that Illinois is about to take off and he needs guys who want to be a part of the program."
He continued, "Once we were done talking, we took my mom and sister around campus so they could get the feel of Illinois."
Jordan has recently taken several visits, including Big Ten teams Illinois and Wisconsin, who Jordan says are both near the top of his list. It's still early in the process, and Jordan doesn't seem to be in a hurry to commit anywhere.
