iPTV: Cubit Talks PSU, Looks Ahead @ Indiana

Offensive coordinator Bill Cubit talks about the lessons learned against Penn State and discusses this week's matchup against Indiana.

CHAMPAIGN - Bill Cubit says there was plenty to like from his offense's performance in Saturday's 24-17 overtime loss at Penn State.

The unit produced 411 total yards, converted 27 first downs and finished 8 for 13 on third down. And the effort was 100 percent, a judgment made by Cubit that he says made him feel as good about his players as he ever has.

The only thing lacking was points. The Illini had one touchdown called back and failed to score twice after reaching the red zone.

That and the running attack must improve, Cubit says. The first-year coordinator speaks about that and much more in this in-depth question and answer session.
