Honor Roll: Georgia Tech Loss

Check out the prime contributors in Tuesday's 67-64 loss to Georgia Tech.

Player of the game: Rayvonte Rice

Rice ignited a second half flurry, scoring 13 of his game-high 24 points in the final 20 minutes. Rice finished with three rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. He shot 8-of-15 from the field, 3 for 9 on treys and hit five of his seven free throws.

Three stars next in line:

Joe Bertrand

The senior had a chance to win the game, missing a good look from the 3-point line near the end. The miss marked an otherwise good performance. He finished with 10 points and six rebounds.

Jon Ekey

Ekey had a hard time finding the basket, missing four his six shots and scoring only five points. The senior forward did pull in nine rebounds though, including three offensive boards.

Jaylon Tate

The freshman playmaker failed to score, but he filled in well when Tracy Abrams was battling foul trouble (amid overall struggles). Tate finished with five assists, one rebound and no turnovers in 14 minutes of play.
