Tuesday, Dec. 10 - Champaign, Ill. - State Farm Center (16,618)
Notes (per Dartmouth sports info):
Must Be a Tractor Boehm
Sophomore Connor Boehm has been spot on when shooting this season, clipping the nets at a 62 percent rate, which ranks 25th in the nation entering this week. In four of the six games, he has knocked down at least half of his shots, including a perfect 6-of-6 in the season opener and 7-of-10 in a victory at Maine to start December. In his last game at IPFW, the 6-7 forward sank 7-of-13 field goals to lead the Big Green with 15 points.
Harrison Heats Up
After playing a total of six minutes in the first five games, and two three-pointers in as many tries, freshman Eli Harrison was given his first extended action at IPFW on Dec. 7. The rookie made the most of his opportunity, draining four triples in six attempts to provide the Big Green with an offensive spark. His long-range bombs went for naught, however, as Dartmouth suffered its worst defeat of the season, 80-64.
Consistency is Golden
If there is one thing junior John Golden has been so far this season, it is consistent — at least when it comes to scoring. The wing has scored between 8 and 13 points in every game and had exactly four field goals in five of the six games. He also has dished out exactly two assists in five of the six contests.
Biggest D-I Win in 16 Years
With its 81-56 victory at Maine on Dec. 1, Dartmouth posted its largest margin of victory against a Division I opponent in over 16 years. The last time the Big Green won by at least 25 versus a D-I team came on Valentine's Day in 1997 when they pummeled Columbia in New York, 82-47.

"Dartmouth obviously is a team that shoots the basketball really well. I don't know if they recruit a guy, it looks like it's that way, that doesn't shoot 3s. That always makes a team very, very dangerous when they have the ability to make shots like they can make them."
-- Illinois coach John Groce
Dartmouth is one of nine colonial colleges founded before the American Revolution.
