Fast Five: Top Incoming Offensive Players

A look at the top offensive players in Illinois' 2014 recruiting class.

1. Geronimo Allison - By now you've probably read — Allison has instincts and raw talent. With the wide receiver corps in need of able bodies, the junior college transfer has the chance to make an impact in 2014.

2. Mike Dudek - Work ethic and technical skills had coaches and teammates impressed with Dudek in the offseason and through spring drills. What the speedy wide receiver lacks in size and height, he more than makes up for it in willingness to go the extra mile. Like Allison, there's opportunity for Dudek to see the field early with the receivers group in transition heading into 2014.

3. Julian Hylton - He was listed as a corner throughout the recruiting process, but Hylton may end up making his mark at Illinois on offense. OC Bill Cubit has already said Hylton will get a look at running back and receiver is an option as well. Hylton may not possess the ability to play defense in the Big Ten, but he was electric with the ball in his hands his senior season of high school.

4. Nick Allegretti - This is the future at center for Illinois. One of only two offensive lineman inked in the class, Allegretti comes from an all-Illinois family and a winning Chicago area program.

5. Tyrin Stone-Davis - You could place true freshman to be Malik Turner here and be in fine shape, but TSD is a few years ahead after spending a few years in the junior college ranks.
