IWCC Pipeline Keeps Flowing

Iowa Western has been good to the Illini over the last couple of classes. That trend continued as tight end Andrew Davis of IWCC committed to Illinois on Sunday.

Illinois landed the commitment of Iowa Western Community College tight end Andrew Davis on Sunday, making him the 6th member of the Illini's 2015 recruiting class.

Davis visited Illinois earlier this spring, and now he will join former Iowa Western receivers Martize Barr and Geronimo Allison in Champaign as well as converted tight end Dallas Hinkhouse. The 6'6" 225 pound Davis chose the Illini over Texas and was receiving interest from several other programs.

Illinois will still maintain their pursuit of Downers Grove North tight end David Edwards, one of the top-ranked in-state players. In addition to Davis, Illinois is also pursuing Charlie Rogers, a defensive back for the Reivers.
