Lyons aired it out often last season, and there's no reason to believe that with Fiedler at the helm, that they won't do the same again.
Fiedler is still waiting for his first college offers to come through, but he proved last year he can spread the ball around all over the field. An impressive start to the fall season will help his stock immensely.
At running back, Ross is a do-it-all back who is a tough runner, capable pass-catcher, and an exceptional pass-protector. If he's able to break some medium to long runs, it will open up the passing game for Fiedler.
For Warren, it all starts with Illinois commit Caleb Reams. The TE/H-Back poses an interesting matchup for most opponents with his smooth route running and great athleticism for his size.
Freshman Micah Jones hasn't quite cracked the Varsity roster yet, but he's a guy who will be a force on the field before too long. He will play in the game prior to the varsity matchup, but if he is successful at the JV level, he could find himself on the varsity roster sooner rather than later.
