FNL Recap: Kentrail Moran

O’Fallon junior running back Kentrail Moran ranks among the best prospects at his position nationally in the class of 2016. The four star prospect who will visit Illinois on Saturday played his season opener Friday night against Cahokia. IlliniPlaybook caught up with Moran after in this video interview.

Kentrail Moran, the 72nd-ranked junior prospect and number 6 running back in the Scout.com class of 2016 rankings. On Friday O’Fallon gave him the ball early and often out of their shotgun formation. He racked up 26 yards in the first quarter including a nice 13 yard carry breaking tackles on the left hand side. Moran followed that up with a big second quarter where he tallied another 55 rushing yards using his power to get tough yards in between the tackles.

The workhorse O’Fallon back finished the night with approximately 92 yards rushing on 25 carries along with one catch for a couple yards. IlliniPlaybook spoke with Moran right after their 16-0 win to discuss his performance, recruitment, and visit to Illinois on Saturday.
