Big Ten for Brennan

Illini land second commit of the day from California JUCO lineman Connor Brennan, who joined the 2015 class after his official visit this weekend.

The Illini added to an already strong 2015 offensive line class with the commitment of City College of San Francisco (CA) offensive lineman Connor Brennan on Sunday.

Brennan held offers from a handful of smaller schools, but provides Illinois with added depth experience on the interior of the offensive line, especially with the injury to Ted Karras. He joins Gabe Megginson, Zeke Martin, Zach Heath, and Adam Solomon as the latest OL commit to the Illini.

Brennan plays with a low pad level and is a tenacious blocker. He is physical at the point of attack and will finish his blocks with force. He is better as a run blocker but will have solid skills as a pass blocker as well as he continues to develop his footwork.

Brennan's commitment gives Illinois their second on the day after Georgia linebacker Julian Jones chose the Illini Sunday morning. He also becomes the 17th confirmed verbal commitment in the 2015 class for Illinois.
