Adesanya Sees Illinois

JUCO DE/LB makes his official visit to Illinois with signing day fast approaching. He gives a quick recap of his visit and what his plans are from here on out.

Sean Adesanya was a prospect who burst onto the college radar late, but he's grabbed the attention of a few major programs, and is starting to close down the process.

Part of that process led him to Illinois this weekend for an official visit. The athletic DE/OLB is being recruited to Illinois as a LEO, an ideal fit for his abilities and build.

For Adesanya, the visit was a good one and he left excited about the Illini.

"The visit was great!," Adesanya said. "It was a really nice campus and facility. The coaching staff is great."

"It was fun meeting the team and the coaching staff," he continued.

Despite the excitement of the visit, Adesanya clarified that he isn't ready to make a commitment anywhere yet. An upcoming visit to Pittsburgh next weekend stands between him and his final decision date.

"Not yet," he said about a possible commitment. "I still have to see what Pitt has to offer."

On his visit, Adesanya was hosted by LEO Carroll Phillips. He also spent a lot of his time there with fellow recruit Dominic Sheppard.

Adesanya said that at this time he has no plans yet for a decision announcement or ceremony, but will likely be waiting until National Signing Day.
