Da'Monte Williams visiting Illini on Sunday

Illini priority and 2017 legacy Da'Monte Williams visited Illinois campus on Sunday

Update (5:45 p.m.): Da'Monte Williams said that he and his family will not make it to the Illinois-Minnesota game on Sunday night. That was their original plan, but his mom was feeling ill. They toured campus and visited with the staff on Sunday afternoon.

Peoria Manual guard DaMonte Williams told Illini Inquirer that he visted Illinois on Sunday. He toured campus with his father, former Illini star Frank Williams.

Da'Monte Williams, a top-50 recruit, is a top priority for the Illini in the Class of 2017. The four-star prospect also has interest from Indiana.

"Recruiting is going pretty well," Da'Monte Williams told Illini Inquirer earlier this month. "I'm hearing from Illinois a lot, and a couple other schools."
