Illini commit Da'Monte Williams has struggled with injuries and consistency this spring and took a tumble down the latest Scout Top 100 rankings as a result.
The Peoria Manual rising senior fell from No. 45 in this winter's rankings to outside of the top 100. He is ranked as the No. 30 shooting guard in the country.
"Da'Monte just didn't have a very good spring," national recruiting analyst Brian Snow said. "He still shows the raw talent to be a high-level player, but his motor has been inconsistent and he has been generally disinterested at times. The ability is there, but so are the red flags. He is someone we will monitor closely in July."
Fellow Illini commit Javon Pickett, a Belleville East senior wing, also is ranked outside the Top 100.
