The race for the top in-state prospect in the Class of 2018 has officially begun.
Dosunmu broke out this spring with strong performances on the EYBL circuit. He averaged 18.8 points during six games on the EYBL circuit with the Mac Irvin Fire, shooting 50 percent from the field, 95.5 percent from the free-throw line and 52.6 percent from three.
Dosunmu is next in line of a great string of point guards out of Morgan Park, following Memphis signee Charlie Moore and St. John's freshman Marcus LoVett.
Finke dropped from No. 22 overall in the previous rankings to No. 48. This week, he received an offer from USC, his ninth college offer. He also has offers from Illinois, Northwestern, Ohio State and Notre Dame.
In 15 games on the EYBL circuit this spring with the talented St. Louis Eagles, Finke -- the youngest brother of current Illini sophomore Michael Finke -- averaged 8.7 points and 4.3 rebounds. He shot 35.5 percent frome the field and 28.8 percent from three.
