One of the Illini's top defensive line targets, Olalere Oladipo announced on Sunday morning that he has narrowed his list to six schools.
Oladipo, who has indicated in the past that he would prefer to make a summer decision if he is ready, named a top six of Illinois, Duke, Cal, Penn State, Indiana, and Michigan State.
Two schools that have long stood out for Oladipo are Illinois and Indiana. Duke is an intriguing contender, and are also recruiting good friend Micah Awodiran actively.
Oladipo, whose sister attends Illinois, has visited campus three times already since Lovie Smith took over as head coach. With the need for depth along the defensive line and availability of early playing time, Illinois has a lot to sell Oladipo, who is also looking to pursue an engineering degree.
Be on the look out for more from Oladipo in the near future here at Illini Inquirer.
