Decision time is looming for five-star Indianapolis wing Kris Wilkes, who continues to have Illinois in his final three along with Indiana and UCLA.
It has been just more than 10 weeks since Wilkes released a top five, and it won't be much longer until only one program remains. Wilkes father, Greg, told IlliniInquirer.com on Tuesday that an announcement will come soon but that a date hasn't been set to this point.
On Wednesday, Wilkes tweeted that his decision will come in "early November".
Wilkes took a break from the process this past weekend, as he went to the Dominican Republic with his girlfriend.
Illini coaches John Groce and Jamall Walker were in Indianapolis for a school visit on Oct. 5, as Wilkes' father informed IlliniInquirer.com. UCLA was in last week, according to reports.
