"Minnesota is the latest school to offer me a scholarship." Brandon Archer said. "I went to the Gophers game Saturday against Purdue. My brother (Phil Archer) had a great game. I think he had 17 tackles or something like that.

Minnesota got robbed. I don't know how they (Purdue) got that field goal off with one second left on the clock. Also in the overtime, a receiver from Minnesota was called out of bounds when he was clearly in.

Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa are my top three. I haven't set up any official visits yet but I'll set visit to these three schools for sure.

The Minnesota coaches are telling my brother that he should tell me to come to Minnesota. So I guess there's some pressure there. My brother would like to play with me but he's not pressuring me. I don't have a leader at all.

Brandon Archer has 50 tackles, seven tackles for loss and two interceptions in 2001. He carries a 3.2 GPA in the classroom and he scored 18 on his ACT.
