The Week in Review: Illini in the NFL

DANNY CLARK - JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Since his Jacksonville Jaguars did not make the playoffs, Danny had Saturday afternoon free to travel to Champaign. Danny was in attendance on Saturday afternoon in Assembly Hall taking in the Illini loss to Purdue in basketball.


ROBERT HOLCOMBE - TENNESSEE TITANS
Despite the injury report this week listing Robert as questionable for Saturday evening's game against the Patriots, Robert was the starting fullback for the Titans. Robert did not carry the ball or catch a pass on Saturday evening for the Titans.


BRAD HOPKINS - TENNESSEE TITANS
Brad started for the Tennessee Titans at Right Tackle in their Saturday evening loss to the New England Patriots.


EUGENE WILSON - NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
On Saturday evening in Gillette Stadium, the New England Patriots once again won a playoff game on the foot of place kicker Adam Vinatieri. The Patriots will host the Indianapolis Colts next Sunday at 2:00 Central on CBS.

In Saturday's game for the Patriots, Eugene Wilson started at Free Safety and contributed six tackles with one assist in helping the Patriots defense stop the Steve McNair led Titans offense.


GREG LEWIS - PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Greg Lewis saw action during the Eagles' Sunday afternoon overtime win over the Green Bay Packers, but he did not catch a pass.

The Eagles will host the Carolina Panthers next Sunday at 5:45 Central on FOX. The winner of this game will be the NFC representative in the Super Bowl.


JOSH WHITMAN - MIAMI DOLPHINS
Josh Whitman has been signed to a contract for the 2004 season by the Miami Dolhins. Josh was a practice player for the Dolphins during the 2003 season.
