"When I was up at Illinois this weekend with my mom, I made a decision," said Flakes. "I verbally committed to Illinois. I like the fact that they are a Big 10 school, and I like the campus and the coaches. I like the offense that they run too. I felt like it could be a good fit. I think I might have a chance to play early and compete for some playing time. I know that the coach will let a freshman start if he has the ability, and I am going to get up there and work hard and try and push for playing time."
Flakes is an exceptional athlete that has the ability to play more than one position, but he has his heart set on quarterback, and he will get his first shot as a signal caller with The Illini. Kisan, an excellent student, is one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Georgia.
