Point Guard Chris Douglas Lists the Illini

<p>Chris Douglas-Roberts, one of the fastest rising guards in the junior class, had a huge night against Northwestern. In his team's 62-51 win which improved its record to 6-7 on the year. The 6-5 Douglas-Roberts scored 24 points, had 15 rebounds and 7 assists.

Douglas-Roberts is a 6-5 PG/SG with an average of 32.0 ppg. This senior is from Technical HS in Detroit, MI.

2003-04 Increased his scoring average considerably from his sophomore to junior seasons. Plays three different spots on the court for his high school team and runs the point for his AAU squad.

2003 & Prior Long, lean and in the form of a Shaun Livingston clone. Fun-loving prospect can handle it and has a flair for passing. Attended 2003 Nike All-American Camp.

His list of schools include: Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Marquette, Michigan, Purdue and UCLA.

Blessed with outstanding size for a PG, Douglas-Roberts has become a prime target for virtually the entire Big 12 and Big 10. He handles and distributes with the best of them and is a capable jump shooter with the ability to defend three positions.
