The Perfect Student Athlete Likes Illinois

<p>Most of you know him by now. His name is Lawrence Hill (6-8, JR, PF) from Glendale Deer Valley. He's one of the best athletes to come out of Arizona in a long time. Read here for the latest on Hill:

"I've had Lawrence since he was 12 years old, and I knew then he was going to be something special way back then," said David Grace, Hill's AAU coach. Hill is a gifted athlete that can run, shoot and jump out of the gym.

"What I love most about him is the fact that he's coachable and he can play in a structured system. It doesn't matter what we throw at him he can adjust," said Grace. This may explain why he can adjust so well: Hill is carrying a 4.33 GPA, which his coach likes to talk about. Hill just took his ACT and is waiting for the results. Hill plans to decide after this summer is over on which college will get his services.

The list of schools that are calling for his services came in this order from his coach: Stanford, Illinois, Arizona, Uconn, Arizona St., Kansas, and now Louisville. Hill seems to like the University of Illinois and their coaching staff.

One recruiting guru stated that Hill is going to make some college coach happy because he is a forward with great athleticism and will work hard to get better.
