Wide Receiver Attended Illinois' 7 on 7 Camp

Having already mentioned Willowbrook linebacker Rahkeem Smith as one of Chicagoland's top sleepers, I must been following the theme in this update on athlete Justin Anderson, who attended the Illinois camp in Champaign this weekend.

With currently only four Big Ten schools showing strong interest, it seems pretty easy to say that the rest of the conference is missing out.

Read more in this update from IlliniBoard.com and TheInsiders.com.

"I have offers from Illinois, Iowa, Central Michigan, and New Mexico," said Anderson. "Indiana and Wisconsin also called me during the month of May. I'm currently at Illinois's camp, and at some point this summer I plan to visit Iowa."

How has he done so far at the Fightin' Illini camp?

"I measured in at 5'11 195 and ran a 4.5. I've been doing real well camp. Illinois has a good history of producing wide receivers, and I think there is a good chance that is where I would play for them. I think they have the program heading in the right direction to make some noise."

The only remaining question in regards to Anderson is what position he will play on the collegiate level?

"I'd prefer to play quarterback, but I realize that may not happen. I know I want to stay on offense and play either running back or wide receiver. I'm not much for defense as I don't really like chasing people," added Anderson jokingly.
