Talonnie Russell, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound wide receiver from Detroit (St. Matin De Porres) hasn't put up huge numbers at the high school level.

He's had to share the football with teammates Carl Grimes (Michigan State) and David Grimes (Notre Dame commitment) the past two seasons.

However, make no mistake about it, Russell is the big prize amongst these three talented football players.

"I have offers from Illinois, Michigan State, North Carolina, Iowa, Boston College, Minnesota, Indiana and Wisconsin." Talonnie Russell said.

"My favorites are Florida, Illinois, Miami, Iowa, North Carolina, Minnesota and Michigan State.

"I'm in no hurry to make a commitment. I'll probably wait until the end of the season to make a commitment."

Check out Russell's player page and hit his video link and you can see why he's one of the best at his position.

"I run good routes and use my hands well," said Russell.

"My best attribute is what I do with the football after I make the catch. I get a lot of YAC (yards after catch)."

Talonnie Russell is also a terrific cornerback but says he prefers to play wide receiver at the next level.
