Ill. Athlete Sets up Official Visit

<p>Justin Anderson, the 25th ranked prospect in the state of Illinois, according to has set up his first official visit. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder from Chicago (Steinmetz) will make a December trip to Champaign for an official with the Fighting Illini.

"I'm visiting Illinois December 17th," Anderson said. "I don't have anything else set up right now.

"I think Illinois is my only scholarship offer. I thought Iowa had offered me in the spring but I haven't heard from them in a while.

"My top schools right now would be Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Northern Illinois. Illinois would probably be my leader at this point. "

Anderson is a four-year varsity starter that's being recruited as an athlete. Justin plays quarterback and defensive back in high school but projects as a wide receiver or defensive back in college.

So far in 2004, Justin Anderson has 250-yards passing and 300-yards rushing. He has five rushing touchdowns.
