PG Jeremy Pargo says his "List is down to two."

Point guard Jeremy Pargo is still on the table and ready to make a university happy. The 6-1 guard from Robeson High School hopes to visit Champaign soon. Read here for the Illiniboard.Com interview with Kedric Prince.

Jeremy Pargo follows the recruiting scene really close and that's because a lot of guards have been taken off the board lately. Pargo knows it's just a matter of time before he will pick the college of his choice.

"Right now I have to get a qualifying score on the ACT. Once I do and I know I will, I hope to visit Illinois," said Pargo. Most people feel the star guard will be a lock for prep school. "That may be an option for me at some point, but I'm really confident that I will get the necessary score needed to qualify for college. That's my number one goal right now," said Pargo.

Illini fans - don't think Pargo doesn't have the game to compete with some of the bigger-named players. During the summer at the Reebok ABCD senior All-Star game, Pargo was CO-MVP scoring 21 points in his last game. "I love to penetrate and get to the basket to get shots for my teammates. Also I know when to look for the open shot," stated Pargo.

Right Pargo has two schools that are showing him the most interest: Illinois and Gonzaga. It isn't a sure thing which school he will choose, but at this point the Illini are right there in the mix.
