Joel Evers, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound wide receiver from Barrington, Illinois has become a prospect to watch as we head into the 2004 post season.
Not to many people know about Evers because he transferred to Barrington from Chicago (Prosser Academy) in the middle of his junior season.
"Joel (Evers) is fast, he's physical and he's what you want a big-time wide receiver to look like." Barrington coach Joey Sanchez said.
Once Evers gets his academics in order and he becomes a full qualifier, several schools will start to recruit him a little bit more.
I had a chance to see Evers in person at Barrington yesterday and he definitely passes the eye ball test.
