Illini fans, Charles Jackson is off to a great start this season. "My team right now is 3-0 and no one has been able to touch us right now," Jackson said. Jackson can finally concentrate on his senior season. "It's been so nice to not have all the schools calling me every day. I can be a student and a basketball player, Mr. Prince," stated Jackson.
Before I could even ask Charles what his thoughts were on the three televised games, he said, "Can you believe how good they look? All my friends and teachers at school now are Illini fans," he added.
Basketball is going great for the Illini commitment. "Right now I'm averaging 23.0 PPG and 17 rebounds. My last game I had 21 rebounds; I'm working really hard right now," stressed Jackson.
The next time Jackson will see his Illini in person may be in St. Louis. "Everyone keeps telling me if I go to a game make sure I go to the ‘Braggin' Rights' game in St. Louis." Jackson will make sure he watches every game that's on national television.
"All my friends are Illini fans now."
