Update on PG Chester Frazier

Chester Frazier is getting better each time out. Read here for a brief update on the future Illini point guard.

Recently PG Chester Frazier made the All Tournament Team in a local tournament. Frazier scored 15 points against MCI, to go along with eight assists. In his final game he collected 21 points and six assists.

Frazier is a fifth-year player at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, under the direction of Head Coach Bill Barton. Frazier hails from Baltimore, Maryland and attended Lake Clifton-Eastern High School, where he was coached by Herman Harried.

Frazier admits this was all new to him playing with different players, but he's used to it now. "Things started really slow for me, but they are definitely picking up," said Frazier.

Frazier has really enjoyed watching his new team-to-be (Illini) play. "What do you expect? They are the best team in the country. They took care of business against some of the best teams," Frazier stressed.
