Heading into his official visit to Iowa State this weekend, Nedward Tavale had Minnesota at the top of his list. That changed, though, upon his return from Ames. "My visit to Iowa State went well enough that they are tied with Minnesota for the top spot now," said Tavale. "I had a really good visit, and really got along well with both the coaches and players. All of the relationships I began to build there seemed to be real, and I really felt that they truly wanted me to be a part of that team."
Tavale has narrowed his list to Minnesota, Iowa State, and Illinois, and will make his official visit to Champaign this weekend.
"Their offensive line coach called me, and said the visit is still on for this coming weekend. With Coach (Ron) Zook there now, I think Illinois will be a contender, and I just have to go there to decide if I want to be a part of it. I know I want to make my decision before January," stated Tavale.
