"Coach (Ron) Zook stopped by last Wednesday night," said quarterback, Paul Blalock.

"I liked Coach Zook a lot. He was very ambitious and he has a plan for getting Illinois football back to the top of the mountain.

"He (Zook) told me that he still wants to look at me as a quarterback and wants me to come down to campus this summer to work out and compete with the other quarterbacks.

"My official visit is going to be January 21st."

Blalock, a 6-foot, 205-pounder, from Aurora (Ill.) Waubonsie Valley, threw for 2,138 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2004. He was named all-state.
