Charles Jackson said his team did fairly well since during the holiday break. They won a tournament and lost one, but he likes the way his team played.
"Since I committed to Illinois I have to play hard every night. People bring their "A" game for me. I can't back down from people, so I have to bring it every game," stressed Jackson.
Jackson understands teams are gearing their defense to stop him, his numbers have dipped to 19 ppg and 15 rebounds, but he understands the game. "When teams have a guy in front and back of me, I know why," added Jackson.
"When I watch the Illini play, I really pay close attention to what Roger Powell is doing. I love the way Roger Powell plays. I see myself playing his game when I get to Illinois. I know high school is a lot different than college and it will be an adjustment, but one I welcome," Jackson said.
