When Illini coach Bruce Weber hired Tracey Webster, most knew it was a good move. I've called a number of recruits recently and all came away impressed with Webster. Dahlman is no different. College basketball fans know that recruiting is the key to any program and since the Illini are the hottest team in college hoops, some say strike while the iron is hot.

"Coach Webster is recruiting me. He's really a great guy – funny, at times, but knows his stuff. He's good at his job," Dahlman stated.

Dahlman is considered by most to be an athletic, small forward in the class of 2006, who is a four star recruit as listed by Scout.com. "Right now I can say I'm really interested in Illinois. I have a list of seven schools, but Illinois is right up there at the top," Dahlman said. His list includes: Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan St., Iowa, Georgia Tech, North Carolina St. and Boston College.

"My team is doing very well right now. We're 11-0 and we have a 37 game winning streak. My team does a good job of getting me the ball," added Dahlman.

Dahlman is averaging 26.2 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game right now. He also carries a 3.7 GPA in the classroom.
