Keyon Brown to Make Decision on Wednesday

When the Illini's Athletic Director hired Ron Zook, one area of concern was recruiting and how aggressive the Illini staff would be. The book on Zook was that he was a tireless recruiter - and he's holding true to form. Get inside with Kedric's interview with Keyon Brown.

Keyon Brown is a 6-3, 225-pound defensive end from Harvey Thornton, Illinois. Brown visited the University of Illinois this past weekend. "Oh, my visit went great. I really liked Coach Zook; he's a real cool guy," said Brown.

Brown likes the Big Ten and that's why he will choose between Illinois, Michigan St. and Northwestern on Wednesday. "It's good football," he said. "I really liked the campus down there at Illinois. I really think Coach Zook will eventually get things turned around down there," Brown stated.

Brown is an athlete and could probably play linebacker in college, however his first love is D/E. "I would really like to play DE in college, but I will play wherever they need me to play. I just want to play," he stressed.
