Illini Football Adds 20th Signee

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Head football coach Ron Zook added the 20th signee to the 2005 class at approximately 8:15 p.m. Wednesday evening when he received a letter of intent from 6-4, 285 junior college All-American Ismail Abdunafi from Elizabeth, N.J. /Elizabeth/Bakersfield College.

"Recruiting is not an exact science and you have to fight until the end of some kids," Zook said. "Tonight we did that and got a great kid in Ismail (Abdunafi). He is a solid player who has a chance to come in here and contribute right away."
