Hit-Man has a couple of offers

Andre' Hatchett, a 6-foot, 202-pound, linebacker, from Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central, is one of the most aggressive defenders I've seen on film this year. Hatchett always arrives at the ball in a nasty mood and he loves to hit. Andre' attended the Scout.com All-American Combine in Champaign, Ill., last month and he's received two offers since then.

"Ball State and Eastern Michigan have both offered," said Hatchett.

"Purdue, Louisville, Ball State, Illinois and Indiana have all called this month.

"Louisville would be my favorite if they offered. I also like Illinois, Northern Illinois, Purdue and Michigan State.

"I'm not hearing much from Tennessee but I like them a lot as well."

Warren Central head coach Kevin Wright says Hatchett reminds him of a player he had a few years ago that's now at Michigan.

"Andre' is a clone of Chris Graham," Coach Wright said.

"Andre' brings it every play and every game. He's a very good player but the college coaches will have to decide where he plays.

"Is he a linebacker? Is he a safety? That's what the coaches will have to decide before offering a scholarship."

Hatchett led Warren Central in tackles as a junior. He was named all-state.

As far as projections go, it's easier to project moving up or forward wrather than going back. So the college coaches will have to decide if Hatchett can make the move backwards to a safety spot.

My feeling is that Andre' Hatchett is a natural linebacker that's just undersized. He has the ability to play linebacker at the Big Ten level.
