Ron Zook is making waves in the recruiting world these days read here for his two latest commitments.
Marques Wilkins, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound, wide receiver, from Decatur (Ill.) MacArthur, gave Illinois his verbal commitment today after attending the Illini football camp.
Wilkins, the #27 prospect, in the Midwest, according to Scout.com, chose Illinois over Wisconsin, Purdue, Notre Dame, Iowa and others.
Ohio DE pledges Illinois
Antonio James, a 6-foot-5, 245-pound, defensive end, from Massillon (Ohio) Washington, gave Illinois his verbal commitment.
James attended the Illinois football camp last week and was offered a scholarship. Antonio is being recruited by Illini assistant coach Mike Mallory.
James chose Illinois over Kentucky, Louisville and Miami (Ohio). All three schools offered a scholarship.
