CHAMPAIGN, Ill. —University of Illinois athletic department officials announced today that the Illinois/San Jose State football contest scheduled for Sept. 10 at Memorial Stadium, will kickoff at 1 p.m. CT and is not slated to be televised. As previously released, Illinois will square off against Rutgers in the home opener at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2, California at 4 p.m. CT in Berkeley, Calif., and on Oct. 22 for Homecoming against Penn State at 6 p.m. CT also on ESPN2.
