Kyle Yelton, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound, kicker, from Chesterton, Ind., visited Illinois this past weekend and watched the Fighting Illini come from behind to defeat Rutgers.
"I was extremely impressed with the stadium atmosphere," Kyle Yelton said.
"Myself and the rest of the recruits sat by the student section and they were tremendous throughout the game.
"All of us recruits were assigned hosts/guides who answered any questions we had about everything, which was really neat.
"The best part was probably after the game, after the winning touchdown was scored the entire Illinois football team came over and came into the stands by the student body."
Yelton is averaging 45.5 yards per punt in '05.
