ScoutTV: Illinois Kicker / Punter

In this ScoutTV feature, IlliniBoard.com and Scout.com provide you with the ability to watch one of the emerging kicking prospects in the country, Chris Goodner from Peoria Central High School in Peoria, IL.

Chris Goodner, a 5-foot-10, 160-pound, punter, from Peoria (Ill.) Central has emerged as one of the top kicking prospects in the nation. Goodner comes highly recommended from top kicking guru's across the country.

Goodner averages 42-yards per punt and has a four-seconds plus hang-time on his punts as well. Several schools have been in contact with Goodner and there's still a possibility for Chris to be named to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Here are some junior clips of Goodner in action.

What makes Goodner a top kicking prospect? He's a two-step punter which makes him very valuable. Two-step punters get rid of the ball quicker than a traditional three-step punter thus cutting down on blocked punts.
