Tonight when the Fighting Illini take on Tennessee-Martin at Assembly Hall there will be a 6-5 freshman named Jordan Prosser that will be in attendance. Prosser will be staying the night in Champaign to attend practice tomorrow to get a better feel for what head Coach Bruce Weber and a Big Ten practice is like.
Recently Illini Assistant coach Wayne McClain has been to a couple practices to see Prosser. At this point according to Stan Prosser the father of Jordan other Big Ten schools are taking interest, such as Wisconsin and Purdue.
Next Thursday when the Illini take on Michigan State Jordan will make the drive again to see the home opener in Big Ten play.
"Right now the Pediatrician told us that by the time he's done growing he could be 6'10"- 7'0" by the time he's done" Stan said.
