Moore Says Offer Is Still On the Table

E'Twaun Moore, a 6-3, 170-pound guard from East Chicago, IN talks about his short list of schools, and which Illinois coach is doing the work with his recruitment.

When head Coach Bruce Weber is doing the work for a recruit something must be there. E'Twaun Moore is a basketball player that fits into Weber's system and is just the kind of guard Weber likes. Moore is very athletic, can run, put the ball on the floor and, most of all, and make players around him better. "Right now I do most of my talking with Coach Weber, he's very interested in me and the scholarship offer is still on the table for me" said Moore.

Moore's list of schools has changed. His top three hasn't, but he did add a new one so the list has grown to five now. Moore says Illinois, Purdue, Tennessee, Miami and Indiana are all strong contenders. Look for the Hoosiers to make a strong push for Moore since Illini recruit Eric Gordon stands firm with his verbal to Weber.

Not only is Moore a student of the game, he's currently carrying a 3.1 GPA in the classroom.

"Right now I still have some time to look at all the schools, and I've told all the coaches that it does matter to me what other players they bring in the program. For example Eric Gordon and I are good friends. I haven't spoken to him for awhile but we talk about Illinois" according to Moore.

No visits have been set up yet for Moore. He plans to make his way down to Champaign soon, but that will have to work around his summer basketball schedule.
