Brandon Davis, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound, tight end, wide receiver from Riverside (Ill.) Riverside-Brookfield will be a prospect to watch in 2002.
"Indiana, Northern Illinois and Bowling Green have offered me a scholarship." Davis said. "I don't have a leader right now. My favorites are Illinois, Indiana, UCLA, Florida and Missouri.
"I'm going down to Indiana for a camp on July 27th." Davis was one of five very good wide receivers that the Bulldogs had in 2001. Riverside-Brookfield had one of the best offenses in the Midwest in 2001 with Illinois bound quarterback Tim Brasic.
Brasic is gone but the offense remains the same. Look for a big season from Brandon Davis. Davis is a solid, put together athlete that could become a very good tight end at the next level. He reminds me of former Michigan State tight end Chris Baker.
Davis had 40 catches for 500 yards and eight touchdowns in 2001. He was named all-conference as a junior.
