Illinois Native Plans another Visit

Lewis Jackson, Class of 2008, is one of the best PGs in the Midwest. Jackson recently visited the Illini and really enjoyed his visit. Read here at for more on this top-notch point guard.

Lewis Jackson enjoyed his visit so much he's not only planning one, but actually planning to visit Champaign during the next two weekends. "I plan to go this weekend and next weekend. I know there's going to be some other players there, so I would like to go back. They told me I can visit whenever I want," said Jackson.

Jackson is waiting until November to see what Illinois does with all of its scholarships. "I haven't visited another place since my last visit to Illinois in August." That doesn't mean that schools aren't taking notice of Jackson's talent. "Illinois hasn't offered me yet, but the schools that have are Iowa, Xavier, Creighton, UNLV, Bradley, Illinois State, and Western Illinois."

According to Jackson he really doesn't have a favorite school at this point. However, Illinois is attractive. "Well, Illinois is a great school and it's close to home. I'm from Illinois so I like that part of it also," Jackson admitted.
