Three-star tailback/fullback William Anderson (5-11, 220, 4.65) from St. Louis Hazelwood East (Mo.) has helped lead his team to a 3-0 record, rushing for over 200 yards and two touchdowns.
Anderson denies a leader, but likes Missouri, Nebraska, Illinois, Minnesota and Kansas, but the Gophers and Jayhawks have not offered. "These are the main five that I'm hearing from right now," Anderson said. "I used to have Iowa and Georgia Tech in my top five, but I'm not hearing from them anymore. I don't think they are recruiting me."
Missouri is recruiting Anderson the most. "They call whenever they can and they seem really interested in me," Anderson said. "They always check to see how my games went and how I'm doing in school.
"I like the Nebraska coaches a lot too. I like their running back coach (Randy Jordan) because he's really cool. He runs a good practice and I like how intense they all practice. Everybody is fast and always moving. There is no stopping or standing around."
Anderson doesn't have any official visits set yet.
"I haven't really watched any college football this season," Anderson said. "I'm too busy. I'm not even sure what their records are or anything. I'm just going to be looking at schools that are recruiting me. I'll see who is recruiting me the most and sticks with me until the end."
