Sean Bird, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound, wide receiver from Ft. Wayne (Ind.) Bishop Dwenger will be a prospect to watch in 2002.
Last year he caught 20 balls on a run orientated offense. He was named all-area in 2001.
"I don't have an offer yet." Bird said. "I receive a lot of mail from the Big Ten and the MAC conferences.
"I'd say that I get the most mail from Ohio State, Wisconsin, Miami (Ohio) and Western Michigan.
"My favorites are Purdue, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Illinois and Miami (Ohio)."
Bird is a pre-season (4A) all-state selection in the Hoosier State. He also letters in basketball.
Sean spent his summer camping at Northwestern, Purdue, Ohio State and Illinois.
