Theron Wilson talks Illinois Basketball

Like all junior college players their dreams are to play at the next level and Theron Wilson is no different. Read here at for more on him.

Theron Wilson is slowly making a name for himself in his sophomore campaign. He's 6-foot-6, 200 forward from Seward County Community College in Topeka, KS is averaging 25.3 points, 12.5 rebounds a game "I'm a slasher, that's my game. That's one of the reasons I like Illinois because of their offense and I can be affective playing in it. I also like Coach Weber's style" Said Wilson. With numbers like that more colleges are sure to take notice. Wilson has been hearing from schools like UNLV, Bradley, Louisville and ISU, but no offer at this point.

"I really like UNC, Illinois, Louisville and Wisconsin. When I was a junior in high school I sent an e-mail to Illinois so I know they are aware of me. Actually my coach, Dave Brown told me recently that Illinois called and asked for my number, so I hope they are still interested," Wilson stated.

"I'm going to wait and see what schools start to call or show more interest. I can be patient but I know I can play and I will just continue to work hard on my game."
