Memorial Stadium Extensions Sell Out

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. —The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics announced today that the Memorial Stadium extensions have officially sold out for the 2007 football season.

"I am excited to hear that so many people have already gotten their tickets for next year," said senior linebacker J. Leman. "Each day when we are working out in the stadium, at least one player mentions how great next season will be, playing in front of a packed house at home. These are the type of things that really add to our excitement, the fact that fans are as pumped as we are."

The DIA also offers a great price of $214 for sidelines seats in both the East and West Main Stands and East Balcony. The $214 season ticket gives fans a discount of $54 for the entire season.

Season tickets are currently on sale for 2007 and can be purchased by logging onto 24 hours a day/seven days a week, calling the ticket office at 866-ILLINI-1 or visiting the Athletic Ticket Office at the North Box Office of the Assembly Hall. Single-game ticket sales begin on July 23.
