We're 17 point dogs on the road in the B1G, and beating the spread won't help our bowl chances. We have a tough row to hoe today, against another team that likes to run the ball. The front 7 will have to have a big game, a lot bigger than last week.
We'll see if Coach Wilson has any rabbits in his hat today. Plug those gaps, get to the edge. Some rhythm in our passing game, a big play here and there, anything could happen. Go Hoosiers!
The team learned from its mistakes from last week, made adjustments, and are ready to play! The Seniors realize what's on the line and will leave it all out on the field. Coach Wilson and Co. have put together a game plan that will get our guys into space to make big plays.
That did not look like a particularly bad snap to Coffman there, he went down to touch the ground and didn't come up quickly enough. The ball would have hit him in the face. I like Coffman, but we gave up all of our momentum and handed it to PSU after the injury.
Need to stiffen here, although it looks like we'll have to do it without Sliger.

Sudfeld wouldn't bother me, either. We're going to have a hard time making a living on the ground against these guys, unless this announcer is right and their linebackers are "starting to wear down" (In the first quarter? Really?).
Lots to gripe about on that whole 1st, 2nd and 3rd and goal series. Not one running play?? IU's the only team in the Big Ten that wouldn't call at least one rushing play in that sequence, bad playcalling IMO. IU had started to run the ball fairly well during that drive too..Litrell likes to pass on first down to much and if it's an incompletion, you're really up against it on second and third down. I'd like to run the ball on first down, even if we only get two yards it's better than zero yards.
Our playcalling is unbelievably bad, it takes points off the board. Doesn't Litrell believe in running the ball on first down? First down after nice pass play and Coffman takes an eight yard sack??? Would've loved to see a run call on that play and then pass on second and third downs..but as it was, it's 2nd and 18...took points off the board. COACHING
