"I'm very confident he could start tonight, let alone a year and a half. That's what you are getting with Gabriel Miller," said Chris Rubio, long snapping guru of RubioLongSnapping.com. "He's got a nice thick frame and an astounding attitude. He's a blue collar kid.
"It was about a year and a half ago when he first started working with me. He was raw and a little inconsistent and I told him what he needed to work on. I told him, 'next time I see you I want it done.' He didn't role his eyes, you could tell he was really listening and wanted to be coached. Every time I saw him, he was getting it done. He was getting better and better and now he's ready."
Rubio feels the Huskers are getting a top three talent at the position in the 2013 class.
"No one sees more long snappers than me in the country. Nobody sees a third of the long snappers that I do. I have him ranked No. 3," said Rubio. "I have Cole Mazza who committed to Alabama No. 1. Nick Saban had never actually offered a long snapper before. No. 2 is Scott Sypniewski who just committed to Michigan."
Big Red Report will have more on Gabriel Miller later today.
